Biometrics Technology • Biometric technology identifies a person using various physiological characteristics which can not be copied or transferred. • The fingertip ridges are scanned and translated through an algorithm to a number. • When an employee initially presents their fingerprint, a mathematical template is stored for future verification.   Scan_in Standalone System • The reader comes with a separate slim-line control unit encased in a metal box. This is mounted on the safe side of the door. • Users can be programmed via the reader head and deleted via the control unit.		System Features • 970 users can be identified; all of which can be authorised on a day to day basis e.g. Monday to Friday or Thursday only. • Users can be allocated on a temporary basis. • Controls up to 2 doors and toggles an alarm system. • Easy enrolment process just using the reader head. • 9 different time zones can be programmed to present the best scenario for the business. • Individual user templates can be barred without the person present.
